Only 10 Days until Google Chrome starts marking http sites as “not secure”

shiny networks url

Google have been trying to deprecate http for some time, and starting in July, websites will be marked “not secure” unless they use https, which requires the use of an SSL certificate.

This means marketing websites like this one, even though there is no user input, will be branded “Not Secure”.

Is this an additional cost to small businesses?  Not necessarily.

The extremely nice people at Cloudflare- who offer a FREE service for hosting DNS among other things – are offering a free SSL service that re-directs all traffic via their service and solves the issue.

If you need help doing this, let us know.

Be Shiny!

Peter.
